Why Choose Us?

If you live in the Aurora area and need a Pediatric Dentist you can trust and one that your child feels comfortable with then our Pediatric Dentistry is the right choice. The dentists in our office are all graduates from the top of their class and have devoted their time to helping children and adolescents with all of their dental needs.

Our Kids Dental program offers education on proper oral hygiene and teaches children the importance of routine checkups. Our Pediatric Dentistry staff takes the time to show each child how to properly care for their teeth and take care of all their oral hygiene needs. When your child leaves our office they will fully understand the proper way to brush and floss and have a better understanding of the importance of good dental practices. We strongly believe that if we teach proper dental care at an early age it will help that child to develop good practices for life.

When you enter our Aurora area Pediatric Dentist office you will be welcomed by a friendly and informative staff. We are always willing to help ease your child’s fears and of course answer any questions you might have about the procedures, exams or treatments. Our kid’s dental staff is equipped to handle even the most reluctant child and can create a positive experience for both the child as well as the parent.

Studies have shown that children after the age of 3 will actually do much better in a pediatric dentist environment if they are allowed to go through the process on their own. Having a parent nearby can add to anxiety and create more stress for the child as well as the parent and the staff. We highly recommend to our parents to allow our trained staff members to accompany the child through the process. We understand that as a parent you might want to stay with your child and we do offer that as an option. We do whatever we can to accommodate our patients as well as our parents to create the most positive experience possible. If you do decide to stay with your child through the exam or treatment process there are some guidelines we offer our parents to help create the best possible outcome for the child.

Do not interfere with the staff as they prepare your child for any exams or treatments. We understand that you might want to help in the preparation mentally for your child, but we strongly believe that it is best to let our professional staff handle any and all preparations.

Try to avoid discussing the details of the Pediatric Dentist appointment with your child. Our trained staff is equipped with a child friendly vocabulary that will help ease their fears and create a more positive experience. If you do want to discuss any details about the appointment with your child, please refer to our website for a list of child friendly terms to use when doing so.

If at any time the kid’s dentist or the pediatric dentistry staff asks you to leave the treatment room, be prepared to exit without any discussion. It is rare that we ask a parent to leave the room, but in the event we do it is often related to the child’s anxiety level.
